A courageous CALL!!

Death is the only true thing in the LIFE. But only a few people have courage to accept that. This poem is composed by my grandfather who is nearly 72 years old. This shows the courageous feelings for yama. I salute you grandpa for having such courage.

O Yama!
How much cruel you are;
Come welcome to you.
Don’t be merciful towards me.
Having deadly dark color,
With open mouth,
Showing all your sharp teeth,
Wearing dark color clothes.
At the dark midnight,
When everyone sleeps,
Come-come with your deadly arms.
I will wait you with holy courage;
And I will fight with you,
That will be the last fight.
I am to wait for you,
Come soon, come soon!!

Time repeats itself, but this isn't any way!!

-->
It was raining this afternoon and I was sitting with my Dadaji in the veranda of my home. Sharing some time with him gives me two things. One, a privilege to learn something from his life, his struggles; and the other, a satisfaction and happiness that I am relieving him of his boredom which is a common thing in this age and absence of Dadi, has increased his loneliness. While our talks, I came to know that one of Dadaji’s old clients, Labdhamal passed away few months back. I knew him since my childhood. I still remember the days when his elder brother Mohandas used to gift breads and toasts at home, selling which was his only livelihood. After he passed away, Labdhamal took over the case. Mohandas’s breads were replaced by just a paan for Dadaji. This paan was the the only thing he used to pay as a lawyer’s fee, but Dadaji never demanded anything more from him. Still everyone from my family has sympathy for him. All I knew about him that he was a poor guy with a family to look after. As I was free and so was Dadaji, I asked him to tell more about the case which is still hanging even after about 40 odd years. Here is a kind of summary of what he told me about the case and hence life of Labdhamal’s family.

After India’s independence, Labdhamal’s relative RamLaal came to India and settled there business in Satna. After few years Labdhamal’s father Sundarlaal, too came India with his family and began to work under Ramlaal. Ramlaal gave them a small house to reside, which was usually a servant’s room behind his big home. After Sundarlaal passed away, his wife urged Ramlaal for registery of that small house on their name. (With registry on your name, you become the owner of that particular land). Though Ramlaal agreed on this, but his son Suraj played a trick and got his name on the registry of that home. No one came to know this until Ramlaal passed away and Suraj send notice to Sundarlal’s family to leave the house. Though legally Suraj was true, but Sundarlal’s family refused to do so. By the time, the elder brother of Sudarlal’s family Shyamdas who was 14 that time took the responsibility on him, and started selling chocolates. Suraj filed a case against Shyamdas and won it comfortably even from high-court. Still Shyamdas refused to evacuate the house, as they were not in the condition to adjust anywhere else. Dadaji took over the case in 1969, and since then he succeeded to hang the case somewhere for some or the other reasons and the family is still living in the same home. However, as the time passed, their condition just went worse, to say the least. Shyamdas passed away in 1980’s. Few years later Mohandas (second of the three brother’s) passed and now Labdhamal, the youngest brother. And now the eldest son, Ramesh, who took the family responsibility, is Mohandas’s son who is jst 14!! There are still one brother, three widows and 3-4 elder sisters above 18 to marry. Girls in the family work as lady tailor, and Ramesh has recently started selling chocolates, at the age of 14. Time , perhaps has repeated itself again. LIFE AT TIMES, GET IRONICAL!!!!!!

There are circumstances, there are lives, about whom its better to comment nothing, neither good, nor bad. Such lives won’t end, for nothing can purify all the hearts of the world. Bad hearts will continue to exist in the same way as the good ones exist.
IT’S HUMAN….BEST OF ALL & WORST OF ALL!!

Ashiqon ki Duniya...!!

A sincere salute to Ashiques, for they kept alive the flame of innocent love through ages,,,!!

Haqiqat se alag bhi ek sapno ki duniya hai,
Is chahal pahal se pare bhi ek sukun ki duniya hai.
Shaam si sheetal, nadiya si chanchal,
Khud me samayi hui si duniya hai.
Ye ashiqon ki duniya bhi,
Ek alag hi duniya hai.

Kabhi sawalo si uljhi, kabhi jawabon si suljhi,
Ek aboojh paheli si duniya hai.
Bachchhon si unmukt, vriddhon si bebas,
Meera ki si deewani ye duniya hai.
Ye ashiqon ki duniya bhi...

Milne ko tarasti, bichhadne se darti,
Shama sang jalte hue parwane si duniya hai.
Pal-pal jeeti, pal-pal marti,
Bistar pe karwatein badalti hui si duniya hai.
Ye ashiqon ki duniya bhi...
Pyar mila to basant me khilte hue phoolon si duniya hai,
Gar na mile, to patjhad me jharte hue patton si duniya hai.
Kabhi jashn ke izhar me hoti aatishbazi si duniya hai,
To kabhi doojon ki khushiyo ki khatir,
patakhon si khud ko jalati hui si duniya hai.
Ye ashiqon ki duniya bhi,
ek alag hi duniya hai...!!
